Default New to 5.3 swaps

OK, here's what I've done for my first 5.3 swap. I'm almost done with a 1940 Chevy coupe. I started out going to do an old school 350/350 build but was talked into doing a 5.3 swap. I purchased a 05 Yukon as a donor that had 173k miles. I did all the custom install myself and she fired right up and runs great. (purchased an HP tuner to get her running). Since I have an abundance of hood clearance, I'm looking for info on swapping the UGLY truck Vortec intake to a Edelbrock Pro flo xt EFI to make the engine bay look better. I only want a dependable long haul street cruiser! I'm not interested in racing. Any input on this plan would be appreciated. I'll get some pics posted this weekend.
