new guy here 2001 WS6 TA
Hello all, I have always owned TA's over the years, a 1974, 1979 (x3), 1989 GTA and currently a 2001 Arctic White WS6, A4 TA, I bought it from the original owner (life long friend of mine) anyways, it had been parked for almost 3 years due to a ticking sound. It turned out to be #6 rod bent and a cracked block. In the process of putting in a LQ4 6.0 block (dropped off at the machine shop, boring 30 over), flat top pistons, forged rods, going with 799 ported heads from texas speed, torquer v2 cam, LS6 intake, SE 1-7/8 long tube headers, 373 gears. Should be a fun weekend car, will keep you posted.
The day I picked it up.
Checking things out.
Old LS1 dropped out.
LQ4, 6.0 prior to taking to machine shop.
