Default Totally new to LS!

My name is Brandon Kumlin!
24. Built a few cars before this but never any LS or v8s. Big one was a Miata running an ITB with way more suspension work then needed. Looking to move on to bigger and better things.

Currently working on a 97 Camaro that will be getting a 5.3 ITB swap paired to a t56.

Welcome to the world of torque

Just a caution, ITB setups are pricey and tuning a lot more involved compared to an intake swap that will make comparable power for a fraction of the cost - and much easier to tune.

Good luck

Well, thank you, for one. I'm starting this build as an empty shell needing an engine. And I purchased a 5.3L short block. So I'm still pretty open to options as it sits. The ITBs were more of an idea since its something that hasn't been done around here in Fargo/Moorhead!

I love ITBs and my goal is to have a H/C LS7 w/ITB on my Grand Sport one day. Just wanted you to know that they are very pricey and hp/dollar ratio is pretty low unless you are going for max effort NA.

You will love having V8 torque and a 6 speed!
