I have a 99' z28 LS1 car that I bought wrecked that was very much salvageable! When I got it it was leaking oil profusely, after reading a few posts on here I found what I believe was the problem. My oil pressure sending unit was broken completely in two, replacing the part required intake manifold removal and while I'm at this point I might as well do away with the cruddy stock one. I have heard the ls6 intake was the way to go as far as bang for your buck but I'm taking my time with this car it's more of a project than anything. I'm going to try to push as far as I can before doing extensive motor work (like complete rebuild) heads and cam are included in this at some point in time just trying to find a good solid place to start and hoping I'm headed in the right direction!!
