240sx drift car new guy NJ Hey guys. Been tossing around the idea about dropping an LS motor into my 240sx and figured this would be the place to come for information about the motors. I've always been stuck on turbo motors but the whole "350hp stock" thing kinda has me hooked. And considering it's a drift car, **** breaks pretty often. So being able to snag parts at the local parts store instead of importing them from Japan would be pretty rad.
I'll be floating around looking for parts and gathering some information regarding the build.
If anyone is selling an LS1 engine and 98-02 F-Body T56 transmission in New Jersey - LET ME KNOW! Looking to pick one up. I'd accept a 5.3L truck engine if you have the F-Body or CTS drive pulleys on there so I can drop her into the smaller Nissan bay. A 5.3L with an LS1 intake manifold and Comp Cam is my back up plan. Then throw a turbo on it eventually. A couple guys I know run boosted 5.3 motors and they can take a serious beating.
