Question internal engine

Hello all, i have just become an LS1 member after about 35 plus years in the automobile bizz, although most of my years of experience we,re mostly concentrated on European and Asian vehicles i have encountered many domestic vehicles as dealership owner, manager, sales, service, wash boy, sidewalk sweeper, etc, you name it!!... well enough of that BS. just completed engine rebuild on 06 trailblazzer SS 6.0L LS motor. problem is I noticed no oil pressure at factory OP guage upon start up,(after filling oil filter and performing manufacturer recommended PRE LUBE) installed my std snap on press guage I noticed upon cranking I acheived about 30 psi @ less than 1000 rpm... decided to attempt start up with RH r/c removed, appears to have about 45 psi upon ignition but NO oil visible at upper end/push rods, rockers shut down immediately!! ...all oil gallery plugs are installed including fibre dumbell plug behind rear seal cover, Rebuild included ::new crank, main n rod brgs, machine shop installed cam brgs, reconditioned conn rods,3 pistons, rings, oil pump,t/c kit, pretty much anything I would inspect/replace in the process of performing rebuild, what have i overlooked!? seriously need some GM wizardry !! HELP !!:confused
