Kansas LS swap Newbie
Hi all,
I'm Chris and i'm new to ls swaps, i have a LQ4 that i'll be putting in a 1993 chevy silverado extend cab. I really y don't understand the wiring harness, yet. meaning after i make the required hook ups do i cut the rest of the old harness out? This is the first of at least three ls swap i would like to make.

Welcome to site. Lt1Swap.com get you going rite way on wiring if your plan on harness from donor. Little confusing sometimes but you get thru it. You learn on first and change things on the next. I did as I went with a cavalier under hood fuse panel(95-05). Lots of ways to wire it up but my favorite is to using all existing power supplies from your own truck. Fuel pump, pcm power, original hot wire to coil to power up key on/run/crank positions. Chonge out fuel pump in tank to rite pressure and reconfigure gas lines take care of fuel. Ask questions as you get there.
