Hey guys my name is Shawn and I live in Helena AL. It's a small city just south of Birmingham. I've been joining a lot of forums lately and getting as much info as I could for a project I'm starting. I've been messing with cars for a lot of my life because dad didn't think it was right to pay outrageous labor rates for someone else to do it so I have some mechanical knowledge and I've been welding for about 8 years now so I got it in my head I could build a car from scratch.

I knew it would be a v8 right off the bat and I've always been raised a die hard Chevy man so engine choice was pretty simple. Just hoping as I go along I can get some good info from you guys here! Thanks
