first time LS1 owner in mid Michgan. I have been lurking for a few years now.
I have owned several Chevy's over my lifetime all GEN1 small or big blocks.
I own a 2000 GMC with the very last of the GEN1 350 vortec's.
2 years ago I picked up a Roadmaster wagon with the LT1.
And now I own my first LS1 powered vehicle, a C5 convertible. its the best car I have ever owned.

Good deal on lead free water!
Honestly since 911 my income has been going down, and ittook a major nosedive when obama became president. I was unemployed for 3.5years and I now make the same hourly rate I did in 1984. My annual income ishalf what it was 15 years ago.
I feel lucky to have a job in engineering though. I miss afew things about living in an urban area but for the most part my quality oflife is 1000% better.
