Bought my first LS1
Picked up a super clean 2001 Trans Am with only 71K miles to daily drive for now and build later. Must say after few day I love the motor and am ready to do a few minor mods.
Thanks for having me here and will do some reading now!

welcome! congrats. first mod is an air lid. flip your air filter lid to see if open & smooth (good) or factory stock has plastic baffles that reduce airflow. next a good muffler or catback. search for an old superchevy article may 2004; ls1 do's & donts. great place to start. cheers!

Thanks
It has the SLP lid, but I believe that is the only mod I can find. Exhaust is stock, but I have some nice stainless 3.5 inch tips left over from a project that never happened so I figure to use those and buy a muffler to swap in for a bit more rumble.
Definitely doing the subframe connects. I did them on all my earlier 4th gens and it really helped. Sucks they charge more for the convertible ones though.
