Default New guy from Michigan

Good morning all, New guy from Michigan here. Currently working on a 69 Firebird convertible that will accurately resemble the Trans Am. DSE suspension, mini tubbed, manual shift, modern drivetrain. It has been a long row to hoe thus far, full rotisserie restoration, every nut, bolt, screw, clip has been stripped and replated to factory specs. Car will look pretty much factory stock but with modern suspension and drivetrain. Is there anything I need to be aware of with the 2004 GTO engine, currently factory stock. Are there any preventive measures I should take with this engine or install as is ? Currently in need of a set of the original fuel rail covers, looking for a real nice damage free set if you have a set to part with that would be very helpful. Thank You all for any and all information for a successful build.
