For starters im on a budget. I have 1500 but can save more.
Okay, i have a 1997 camaro ss, it needs paint bad (cuz the clear coat is peeling) and i can get it painted for 1500 dollars, but it has 150,000 miles on it and i need to get the motor rebuilt (i am pulling it and building it myself). So i dont kno what i should do first.

And for the motor build i want to have between 350-375 rwhp with no cam lope sound.

I agree, do the motor first. If it doesn't run, the paint won't matter. Plus, you wouldn't want to scratch up a new paint job while doing the motor.

whats the point in building a motor without a meaty cam? but i agree with the rest motor first
