Hey people I got a gold 98 trans am I will probably be on here quite a bit, my ls1 is knocking at start and need to get some info such as rebuild or buy used, part reviews etc. I own a 98 Sports Gold Metallic Trans Am. Its got 141k on the clock and she's a knockin but holds oil pressure.

my buddy has a 98 gold TA, and his motor was a knocking not too long ago. his crank bearing locked up on him. if something is knocking stop driving/starting it now the longer it runs the more damage it will do. your going to have to tear it down and do a rebuild. could be a rod let go, crank bearing locked up or something like that. good luck
