I was selling my car, found a guy who posted in the WTB section and I directed him to my car. We went back and forth, and then he told me he was in Norway. Well, needless to say with all the scams, I figured this was one. I kept talking though, something seemed sincere. Sent him loads of pics and info and he offered to buy it. Very convincing that he was on the up and up, and he was.
I set up a secure money transfer outside of my regular accounts, one that he could not go back on, and will alot of trust in me, relied on me to hold my end of the bargain. I took the car to the docks in SC. and a small weekend trip and off the car went.
Lars got the car today and was pleased in his pm with me. If you are hesitant about dealing with Lars being from Norway, don't be. He is a class act and someone who I would not hesitate doing business with again.
