Rear sway bar contacts true duals
I want to pull my stock springs so I can do the heater hose mod, but when I put the car on jack stands and lower the rear from the diff, the rear sway bar contacts my exhaust and pushes it downwards.
I know pulling the springs is really really easy, but what am I supposed to do?
The tips of the duals JUST barely make it past the sway bar, and enough that when the car is lowered, the sway bar rests on the exhaust pipes and wont let the rear slide down any further.
At that point, the rear springs are still pretty firmly in their housing, but there is a little bit of play.
What are my options? Do I need to remove the rear swaybar? Messing with my exhaust is not something I'm going to do.... is there any way to pull the spring out with the suspension being partially loaded?
