Default new york need cats?
i i need to buy a y pipe fast and would like to know if the car will pass emissions or not. also does anybody have a tsp catted y pipe for sale??

ur supposed to have cats on the car but if you tune the ses light out you can pass inspections no prob. i have no cats but since i dont have a service light on they dont even put my car on the dyno machine.

Every state "needs" cats, since its a federal law. However if you can pass OBD2 test, and your friendly with the inspector, since its just a visual check you can get by without them.
