has anyone broken a torsen differetia? if so, how?

i talked to a Guy at the track that did, it was a 2001 M6 with 4.10 gears and he blew the spider gears. He blew it on the line and very slowly drove the car the rest of the way down the track and got it back to the pits at a top speed of 5mph.

Auburn has spiders,ZT has screws??

I have blown 2 auburns rather easely but never managed to break my ZT[even with 4.10s].

I now have a 9"[Detroit locker] which puts the other 2 to shame on the track,but is nowhere close to the smoothness of the other 2 on the highway!!!

ZT is very tough though !!!

Twice, though the second wasn't as bad as the first one. the first time happened after a couple of 1.58 60's.
