Engine Swap inspection dilema hello everybody, my name is jeff. i have a 96 z28 that i want to swap an ls1 into. the only concern i have is passing inspection since i would be scanning a reg. for a lt1 but would be hooking up to the machine with an ls1 computer. is there something i need to do to make this work or am i screwed. by the way i live in ny. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Be careful, in some states the vin is in the computer and changing computers means the car has the wrong #'s now. The computer may have to be reflashed with the right vin. It is that way in Ma now.
