question about the camaro ss
heys guys im lookin to get a ss as soon as the trans am is payed off and i was lookin and the ss with the center exhaust is that an aftermarket piece or is that one of the slp options cause alot of the ss i see dont have that center exhaust with the wrap around bumper but i seen them running around here in oho and seen one out in cali too

Well both sort of. It was an SLP option on SS's with both the 335hp and 345hp package. However there are also plenty of folks who bought one and put it on their car even though it did not come with it originally. They are hard to find now as SLP no longer makes them or the piece to go on the bumper. There is a company that makes aftermarket valences however. If you want a genuine SLP CME kit be prepared to spend between 500-1000 dollars.

The original SLP tips where pulled off and replaced with the one you see. All stainless steel and built stronger than SLP's. I believe it gives a "cleaner"
look to the exhaust. They where made by a company called speedspecialty but they are no longer in biz.
