Getting KR when spraying ?
Ok I deciced to jet up to a 150 shot plus I put solid motor mounts on the car and now im getting 2-4 degrees of KR but only when spraying ... I ran a few motor passes before and after spraying and I got no KR I have tr6's gapped at 36. Plus how bad is 2-4 degrees of KR killing me in the 1/4 or is it ok when spraying since it retards the timing ?

Re: Getting KR when spraying ?
KR means you either have detonation=never good
or
its false, and then yep its pulling timing but all the way so you only get 19* w/4* KR.
Try using race gas, and see it it helps.
Do you have a fuel pump to handle it, you might bel leaning out a little.

Re: Getting KR when spraying ?
I have the Walbro 255 pump and 30lb SVO's. I usually always run 100 octane when im spray but this time I only had 93 in it... I put some 100 octane in it last night and was only getting .7 on KR. So that could be the big culprit. I am going to go back down to a 100 and see how it does.

Re: Getting KR when spraying ?
Yeah, try mixing up the 100octane first and see what happens. Check your plugs...might need a little timing for the 150, usually you back the timing off a little per jet increase. Sounds like your on the right track now though, check the 100shot, then try the 150, back up the timing and alwasy check plugs after a run until your comfortable with the new settings.
Good-luck,
Charlie.
