Default Cams

Whats the best cam that has a good lope, can still get inspected, and produces the most power for a 98 Z28 M6.

Most everything I've read here says to stay near a 220* cam for emissions concerns. Other cams may be ok with tuning, but the higher the duration, the harder it is to keep emissions down. Look at the TR220 or even some MTI cams (B1, T1).

I passed Houston emissions with a MTI C2 (224 .581 112). Here's a dyno with stock heads, 12 bolt (4.10), Denny's steel driveshaft, and 17x11 wheels.
