Can stock 97-98 806 heads bolt to a 4.8L with not valve clearance issues?
I have some one that I know who is in a bind. I have a set of 97-98 heads that are ready to bolt on (gaskets and All). He was wondering if my 98 heads will bolt on to his 4.8L with out any valve clearance issues to the bore. I have looked and haven't found an answer to this ?

As stated above they will work, but it will probably hurt the truck's power a little bit due to the drop in compression.
He/she will also have to purchase 98 valve covers, and find some way to rig up your coils. 98 heads require each coil to be bolted individually to the cover, and a truck coil won't bolt up.
Not worth the trouble IMO.
