im looking at a 10 bolt out of a 01 ss. not sure of the miles on it but its whining. it has 3:73s in is but the guy says it was whining before they where put in. it should have the torsen style differential. im thinking its a bearing but im trying to figure out what else it could be. im really just concerned with the carrier being ok. anyone ever heard of the carrier whining?

i wouldn't put to much money toward it ....they all suck ...save up for a 12 bolt
