None of the big name places will do it on a M6, other than that you should be good to go.

They make a vats bypass box that will bypass the anti theft system only when the remote start is activated. Unless you are very good with reading wiring diagrams and soldering wires i would find a very reputable shop to install the remote start. It took me 8 hrs to install one on my chevy 2500 dmax
