Default Lsa ?

I was wondering about the lopeyness of these 224 cams. I see alot of people running them and was wondering at what LSA do they start to lope pretty good. I want to be able to drive the car but i want that sound with it.

112. No big deal to drive at all. No surging or anything. Very easy to drive in rush hour traffic and it has a little bark. Look at TA Pics in my sig. There's a dyno graph in there somewhere. Don't make the mistake of going with the 114. JMO.

Why is the 114 a mistake? Not being difficult. Sincerely curious.

The 114 has little less lope than the 112 that is why he is calling it a mistake. The 114 still has a lope to it with the idle set at the stock idle but the 112 has nice noticible idle.

my tr224 114 with a 600 (550 is stock) rpm idle would tremble the car at red lights. literally the whole car would shake. it also would die coming to most stops. i had to two foot drive. my tuner bumped it up to 700 rpm. now its smooth during warm-up but once it settles to 700 it has a gentle smooth lope, but you can tell it has a cam. no mistake.

Thats good to know. Thanks guys. Does the LSA have anything to do with when the cam hits powerband? Sorry if thats a dumb question.
