Default LT1 Idle Speed?

How do you adjust your idle rpm on an LT1? Have to tell the person who is doing your tune correct? What do you guys recommend is a good idle speed for the average 383? Thanks Right now mine is right about 900-1000

I am still running a 350 shortblock, and with the Hot Cam, I am idling it down to 650 RPM. Depends on how radical the cam is, and how good your idle spark cal is.

And yes, it's all set in the cal, unless you have a vacuum leak that pulls enough airflow to raise the rpm with the IAC closed.
