Default symptoms of a bad pcm?

Can anyone tell me what the symptons are for a bad pcm.... I've searched on here with no help.

Honestly, there are no defined symptoms for a bad PCM. If a PCM goes bad, it could cause bugs in anything and everything. However, I think you can simply remove your PCM and have it tested by the dealer or AZ.

random codes being thrown is really the only way

I have seen countless accusations of "bad pcm" and I can not recall a single case where that was the problem.

Please describe whatever is making you suspect this.

mine went bad in my 93 t/a. which is different from the 94 and up. it would misfire and cutout after the car got warm. when it was cold it didnt have a problem. after swapping a few things and having no luck i swapped the computer. i've had no problems since. my cousin also had a 93 t/a and had the same symptoms. after changing the coil and ign. module he was convinced that the opti was bad. i disagreed but swapped a new opti for him, which had no effect. another computer fixed it aswell.
