Default tuner cat

got a vista laptop and tunercat(ver 1.53 from moates). program locks up and wont work. works fine in XP. has any one else having same issue

you have an old version pre vista. i'm using ver 2.11 go to craigs download page
and get a newer version. the vdfs have been updated recently also, you will need to
email craig for those. version 2.11 has an issue with lt-1 cars and old vdfs everything
needs to match for best results.
i have heard too many scare stories about usb adaptors to give up my pent 111
machine for tuning.

Make sure you're running your CATS in "XP SP2 compatibility mode". Not sure about the "most" current version of OBDII RT, but on the current non-RT release this is the only way it will work. Same goes for WinFlash.

TC's online FAQs page has instructions on doing this.
