going to be a hyd roller 427 with compression 9.2- 10.5 to 1 thinking about 10.1 see what ill end up picking.
going to running a F1C procharger on it Trying for a great idle and pulling hard to 6500-6800

Ok so im down to ET or allpro for heads because this is a FI build would i see any big changes or different from a ls2 style head vs the added coin going to a ls7 head ?
allpro only makes a ls7 head?
Does going 5 bolt makes a big change in strenght?

[QUOTE=venom ws7;10585046]Why did you choose Warhawk over LSX Block???? any reason other than Aluminum.
From what I read LSX Blocks are much easier.[/QUOTE
I went with it mostly the alum reason. Then the oiling system.
Also thinking if anything ever happened I could just replace a sleeve or weld the block
I heard lsx was a little easier but seen some great warhawk builds to.

Yes its going to be semi driver going on long trips running pump gas with meth injection. I didn't want to give to much off boost power up as it will see alot of driving unboosted. I also don't mind mixing race gas when i know ill be tracking it or playing around.
Right now im running 11.1 with 14 psi of boost on just pumps and meth

For a cam I'm looking at a 230maybe 232 and 242 at .50. With 115 plus 2. Ground in the cam.
Where do u think this would peak around on a 427. Should have no issues cruiseing at 1800rpms? (Highway) Think you would be able to tell It was camed at idle? Over all should be a pretty good cam right?

I would give Bob a call at All Pro. We have ran several of his LS7 heads on these warhawk blocks.
And you can run trick flow heads, will have to do a little machining but you can make the 5th bolt hole work.

What do you mean i would have to do a little machining work to make the trickflow head on a warhawk block with the 5th bolt hole ?
Dont you mean the 6th cause the exhaust is in the same spot as the lsx block only the intake side is off right? Do you mean it possible to make the intake side head bolt to work with a little machining?
Were you the one building the warhawk blocks ?
