Index racing returns to E'Town and there are changes
Heads-up indexes return to E'town in 2009.
8.50 returns
10.0 returns
11.50 is BORN. RP has decided to combine the former 11.0 and 12.0 to one new index...11.50. No more 11.0 or 12.0.
Now the other big change.
Index racing will be conducted on Friday nights. No longer on Saturday's.

Friday Night Stinks!
I went to every single one, when it was on Saturday's.
Now I can't go to any of them. (Unless I take a day off from work)
I like the 11.50 idea though.
This is too bad.

Just cause you cannot run 11.50 does not mean you should complain that it is on
Friday.
I thank you for your support and look forward to thanking you in the future

Look on the bright side, you can run all out now and not worry about breaking out.

the answer to two of the there are in the rules for 2008
http://www.etownraceway.com/main/classes/Index08.pdf
It could be a black and white or a gray area.
I have found in most cases it is a gray area. The track can decide to warn you or dismiss you. Typically you will be warned. The idea though is if you are capable of going under you should be legal because you will essentially have been warned already for going under because you can and likely did.
In other words, you bring an 11.70 car that run 11.40 in November, you will likely be warned. If you bring a 10.90 car you are slowing to 11.50, then will have the proper equipment already because you are way under and did not get there with great air or a tail wind.
