What about some Rubber Line from Autozone or something, I don't think that would really make a difference IMO..

I thought about the rubber hose thing but since the one that is on there isn't rubber I figured I'd stick with keeping things the same since there must be some reason they didn't go with rubber....

I don't see why it would make a difference, the one on the Auto's is Rubber, and I'm willing to bet more internal pressure builds up in an Auto.
