Default mounting thin tires, 285 30 18s ?

I recently got some new tires for rear and no one can mount them, everyone is i scared of the 30s, any one know a place that will install them? Besides firestone, they said they will but like $50 bucks ea sounds insane for mount some tires.

ntb, discount, even tried walmart local tire shops.

Not to hijack the thread, but what's wrong with having 30's? I just bought new tires, 275/35/18 and 295/30/19. What's wrong with the 30's?

Ive heard that from alot of the older rodders, they think a 30 series tire is gonna blow out going over a bump. Im running a 295/40/18 purely because I like how it looks. Wish I could point you to a good shop, good luck bro.

Any shops in your area that build high end hotrods? They should have a machine to mount those tires. We can mount 20 series at my work.

May try a local high end car dealership(porsche, audi, bmw) alot of them have top of the line tire machines.
