Anybody had their transmission replaced? What's the warranty?

And is there any chance that warranty is transferrable to the new owner if you sell? The guy I bought my car from had it replaced this time last year (~10k miles)... so I was just curious. It's still performing like a champ, for now.

I'm not sure, i just had mine replaced a couple weeks ago at 30k. the service guy made it sound like it was over when the factory is out but i'm not sure. mine was a rebuilt one from gm, not a new one. do you no what happen to it? mine had a bunch of clutch plates that broke off and the valve body was fucked up. too many burnouts i guess

i had mine replaced a while ago and its under a 3 year warranty. and x amount of miles maybe 36k

I hope that's what this one is. The guy doesn't know what happened to the last one. He says it just started slipping. Hopefully it'll last.

Anything 2007 or newer the transmission is covered for 5 years or 100,000 miles from the factory

Oh yeah! 13's and still under factory warranty, thats why I love my car.

When i got my gxp they restarted the 3 year 36k bumper to bumper, and 5 year 100k powertrain over and its like i got a brand new car and its an 06 :, but as for a replacement tranny im not sure, i think they are usually a 30k warrenty (at least for cars ive had in the past)
