95 in engine into a 94?

hey

stupid question...but i am assuming i can put a 95 lt1 out of an impala ss into a 94 z28?

The Engine will go in fine, the OPTI will be different from the Impala, it will be the Vented setup.

You can put an LT1 into almost anything.

You'll need the opti harness from the 95+ motors.
