A 15x10 wheel would need 4.5 backspace.

It would be the same 4.5" backspace for any wheel in a 15x10 size.

You can go comfortably to 5" on a 10" wheel as well. Page 4 (other pages as well offhand) of our F-body section as a few cars like this.

4.5" and 5" will both look good.

just remember that depending on what slicks you go with there will also be
tire over hang on the rim.

I always liked going with the 5" and playing with small spacers to get it perfect.

Reason being once the wheel is too far out there is nothing that can be done about it
other than narrowing the rear again.

5" is the max you can run on bs with that narrowed rearend.

actually with s wide slick or tire you might even rub on the inside,
requiring the need for a small spacer to pull the wheel slightly back out.

but if you have a wheel with a 4.5" bs and running a wide tire it would
stick out past the quarter.

So in that case nothing would help or work to bring the wheel further in
other than getting the rear renarrowed some more.

So with that said you can always run too much bs and correct with a spacer
but not the other way around.

thanks understand now... since thats the case what would be the best studs to run to make sure i have enough room to run a open ended lug nut all the way up to the wheel and still have stud hanging out tech for the tracks a bitch

old thread bump
What backspacing would keep the tire inside the top of the rear fender lip for a wheel/tire combo of 19"x11" / 305/30/19. The rear end is a 3" narrowed per side MWC Fab 9.

thanks!
