backspacing question on narrowed rear end

backspacing question on narrowed rear end
hey guys what back spacing would i need on a rear end thats been narrowed 3 inchs on both side onn a 2000 camaro no mini tubs or anything prostar wheels if that matter?

4.5" and 5" will both look good.
just remember that depending on what slicks you go with there will also be
tire over hang on the rim.
I always liked going with the 5" and playing with small spacers to get it perfect.
Reason being once the wheel is too far out there is nothing that can be done about it
other than narrowing the rear again.

just remember that depending on what slicks you go with there will also be
tire over hang on the rim.

5" is the max you can run on bs with that narrowed rearend.
actually with s wide slick or tire you might even rub on the inside,
requiring the need for a small spacer to pull the wheel slightly back out.
but if you have a wheel with a 4.5" bs and running a wide tire it would
stick out past the quarter.
So in that case nothing would help or work to bring the wheel further in
other than getting the rear renarrowed some more.
So with that said you can always run too much bs and correct with a spacer
but not the other way around.

What backspacing would keep the tire inside the top of the rear fender lip for a wheel/tire combo of 19"x11" / 305/30/19. The rear end is a 3" narrowed per side MWC Fab 9.
