Default 17x11 TTII fitment on a lowered bird???

I have a 98 ta convertable and would really like to run the 17x11 TTII with 315's on the rear. my question is do these fit inside the rear wheelwell on a lowered car??? it seems that they are sticking out of the fenders in every pic I have seen. my car is lowered by way of firehawk springs/shocks and the rears sticking out is absolutely out of the question. I am willing to roll the lips and apply the bfh, but don't want to waste my time and money ff the wheels will stick out.

also any pics of a 17x11 on a lowered bird would be appreciated.

its going to stick out.... and honestly when a car is lowered it seems to enhance it IMO. I assume you are talking about the rear view... from the front you cant really tell that they stick out much.

Well they dont exactly fit in the rear fender wells. If the off set is right and you get a adjustable panhard bar, roll the rear fender lips, message the inner fender wells, and get a good tire you should have no problem. That is in a nut shell. Been there done that. I want to say the off set is 50mm. Not 100% but pretty sure

the problem is that I only have about an inch of fender gap with the car empty. I don't want to hit a bump that compresses the suspension and have the fender sit down on the sidewall or tread of the tire.
