Default Is my ABS located on the axle or on top of the pumpkin?

I am ordering a Strange 12-Bolt and one of the things I need to specify if whether the ABS is located on the top of the pumpkin or if it is on the axle.

I am not 100% sure what I am looking for and would appreciate some help.

The car is 1999 Z28 with ABS and Traction Control.

I don’t see anything on the top of the pumpkin except for a little metal protrusion on the passenger side top more or less above the side fill plug. It’s about the size of a grease fitting but there is nothing attached to it except a small white cap.

I do see wires that run out to each backing plate that attach to what could be sensors or switchs of some sort. Would that be the ABS sensor? (or if not, what is it?)

Any pics would also be helpful.

With traction control would be a 4-channel abs. The sensors are on each wheel.

Thanks. That's what I thought but I wanted to be certain before I placed the final order.

Yup,

abs + tcs = 4 channel (i.e. sensors on either axle)

abs only = 3 channel (i.e. sensor on top of pumpkin)

Sounds like the little thingy you found with the white cap is the vent.
