Default Got a Billet Grill for XMas...Should I paint it black or leave it?

Got a billet grill for Christmas for my 94 Z/28. I'm trying to decide, should I leave it silver or paint it black since the rest of the car is blacked out (taillights, windows, turn signals) or would it be a nice balance being silver/chrome since there is chrome wheels on the car? I also have a 69 z/28 emblem i was thinking about throwing on there to match the fenders and tail panel. What do you guys think?

I think I would paint it black since the rest of your car is blacked out

I would leave it the way it is so it would match your wheels, got a pic of the car for reference?

Put it on and see how it looks. You can always take it back off and paint it.

I'd keep it chrome to match the wheels, but that's just me.

If you paint it black you won't notice it as much and having a black car leaving it the way it is you will definately notice it .

I say paint or powder coat it black since the rest of the car is blacked out. I have had both polished and black and the black looks cleaner IMO.

I would leave it silver. It would blend in too much with a black car if painted black. That being said, mine is painted black but my car is bright teal metallic. Here's a pic of mine:

^I usually don't like them either, but my foglight delete let you see a lot of paint overspray throught the holes. I decided to try to do a grill because I couldn't find any
1LE foglight covers, and couldn't be happier.

Well went out really fast since its cold again and set the grill on the car unpainted and looks really nice! i may just leave it chrome for now. I'm not sure how to make the 69 z28 emblem work with the bend on the grill though.

I'd leave it. Being that it's going to be on the front of the car the paint is going to chip, especially painting over a smooth chrome finish.

I think you should lower it too. Looks like you can dig a fist between that tire and fender well.
