Has anyone put their n02 switches in their ashtray? Is this a good idea?

I put my purge button in the ash tray, and the toggle INSIDE the little compartment next to the cig lighter, not a cover but accually mounted deep inside so its not very visible, I do plan on moving everything to my center console where you open it up and can see the n2o guage and the switches and buttons handy, mounted on a peice of sheet metal
