Default cam advice

Planning on swapping out a mild cam, possibly nitrous in the future. I already have yellow z06 springs and an ls6 cam but now I'm having second thoughts about the cam. I do not want to have to buy more springs with a different cam though. What does everyone think about the hot cam, 218/227 .525/.525 112lsa as opposed to the ls6 cam 204/218 .550/.550? The hot cam will still work with the springs right?

I would go no smaller than a tr224. Anything smaller and your selling your self short on power. IMO. tr230 worked good in my friends set up.
