Default super victor conversion

did the comversion with a super victor intake, elbrock elbow, and NW 90 MM tb. the hood lack about 1 1/2 in to close. has anyone done this and how did you get hood clearance.

if not below are few ideas to run past yall to fix this.

cut hood
new hood
lower engine 1 1/2 inch with solid mounts

New hood usually. The regular victor JR would have made more room i think.

Shim the hood hinges in the back. Put a washer between the hood and hatch.

i have a vic jr .and had to buy a new hood
