What happened to 98-02 Camaro front fenders?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed. 98-02 Camaro front fenders have an irregular wheel opening shape. I think it is more noticable on lowered cars, but the wheel opening definitely appears to lean forward on most of the cars I've seen, including my own SS. The gap between the tire and fender at 10 o'clock is much larger than the gap at 2 o'clock. The rear wheel openings seem to be pretty concentric, or whatever you'd call it.
I've often wondered if there was a difference between the fenders of different model year cars? I really can't figure it out, but if a certain year car came with a more uniform front fender, I'd like to know. Any ideas???
I'll post a pic of a car I found in one of the stickies here on tech. I chose this car as an example because it is white, and easier to see what I'm talking about. I'm not picking this car apart as I think it's a perfect example of a clean SS.

i've noticed it as well.
i don't think its the fender, i think its actually the bumper cover that messed with the look. notice how the fender is round until the bumper cover start, and it just goes straight down,
