I'm just wondering if anyone out there has used any kind of Mercedes Benz carpet in there classic camaro and if so where they got it from. Im in the process of restoring my 68 camaro this winter and ive got a **** load to do, dyna mat, new carpets, paint, ex ex... I have seen many magazine builds use what they call " Mercedes " carpet. Is there any pros to this I would imagine it would be a bit thicker and help keep the road noise out. Mine is shot, I mean completely shot. Also while im on the subject, is there any little BS I should know about redoing a 68? Im sure most of you guys have come across bullshit while restoring your own car. so far the only huge problem is the trunk and driver side floor pan need to be cut out due to rust. God damn rust never takes a day off.
