Change posi to a lockar?? Just curious if a rear can be change from posi to a lockar. I'm looking at a 9" w/posi but really want a lockar. Not sure if the axles are the same or not. If it can be done...how hard and how much?

Re: Change posi to a lockar?? You'll need to buy a detroit locker for the same splines as your axles and have it installed and set up. Ford sells a "high bias" preload spring that locks it up even tighter through the Motorsport catalog for a few extra $$. Good luck!
