I have a 408 with about 25k on it....Built in August of 06'......NO issues with the motor....I'm fixing to put new valvesprings in it....It seems to not have the get up and go of a new motor....

I was wondering what the average cost of a "freshing" up what be?....

Also, what would all be involved?...Rings,seals etc,etc

I would think approx $1000 to $1500 including going through the heads. This would be all the basics, dissasemble, clean, deglaze cylinders, inspect all parts for excessive wear or defects, re-assemble with new bearings and rings.

Thanks,
Shane
