can chrome rims be powder coated? just wondering if chrome rims and other chrome stuff can be powerdercoted without having to chip off the chrome...

I just confirmed in my powder coat gun manual, and it says you can coat over chrome and polished aluminum. There are transparent coatings out there too, for example if you want the black chrome look.
