Default Iron block Vs. Alum. Block

I just picked up a Alum. ls1 and was amazed how lite it was compared to my lq4 iron block.I was wondering if anybody new the weights of both blocks?I want to see which would be a better choice for power to weight.

I just searched again and got the info i needed.I must off used the wrong phrase in my first search.I don,t see myself making over 500 hp,so i,m going with the weight saving.I,ll save the lq4 for future upgrades Thanks
