Need Advice - Previous Gen Radiator Thickness

Question Need Advice - Previous Gen Radiator Thickness
I need some help from you guys with the previous gens or body folks.

Trying to fix a 95 Lumina 3.1 sedan. Needs a radiator. The 5/8" thickness is $215 and the 1 1/4" thick is $139. The car has a 5/8" from the factory.

Can I put the bigger one in the car to save money?

You will have to modify the supports a bit but it's possible.

So the side tanks are bigger, not just the core?

Yes. I repaced the radiator on the GP a couple of years ago same engine as the lumina
