Default Front wheels sitting incorrectly

Just bought a Camaro and it had HORRIBLE wheels and tires on it. Decided to pick up some chrome wagon wheels for some budget wheels until I get something nicer. I don't like the staggered look so I decided to go 17's all around. I was concerned about the rears maybe not being the correct offset and backspacing, however it's the fronts that are giving me issues. The passenger side fits exactly like I thought it would, however the driver side sits WAY to flush w/ the wheel well. What could be the issue and how can I fix this?

Here are some pictures:

You sure you don't have a back wheel where a front wheel should be?

Other than that, looks like it might be a manufacturing defect.

Do the wheels have the same offset?
maybe you need an alignment.

Were wagon wheels ever produced in an aftermarket product? The reason I ask is I bought 3 wheels/tires from a guy on craigslist who had wrecked one of the wheels crashing into a curb. I had to buy the 4th on ebay and the company said that it had just been removed from a corvette. However measuring it, it seems to be an inch smaller than the other 3.

In this order:

A) did the wheels you took off the car do this?
If so, measure and compare backspacing. If wheels are OK, I would
suspect collision damage;
B) If the original wheels didn't do this, re-measure and compare the wheels
you just bought. It appears you have an odd one.
