piston selection help
guys, working on gathering the parts to build a 370 or so. i have a stock iron block, was going to use a stock crank, which i have. already have the rods (scat 2-350-6125-2100a, 6.125/3.622 stroke/0.927 pin)
i'm between 2 sets of pistons right now. the srp 279591 or the wiseco k398x3
http://www.srp.com/cat/professional/..._top-pro.shtml
http://www.wiseco.com/Catalogs/Automotive/Chevrolet.pdf see page 17
the heads are l92's from texas speed. was shooting for a mid 11:1 cr and 8.3 or so dcr (want to run 91 octane pump gas)
i ordered the heads at 72cc chambers so i can mill them to get the numbers needed.
any experience with either piston? recommendations, even if its another one completely different? i'm planning on going with a custom cam too.
thanks
steve

I would go with the Weisco or a Diamond over the SRP any day. Those companies really have their stuff together where the LS market is concerned. If you'd like a quote, PM me.
Thanks,
Shane
